HELP WITH RE-INTEGRATION
EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT
BUSY Ability work with leading specialists and Queensland and NSW correctional services to help ex-offenders transition from prison into the community and, in particular, employment.
As a part of The BUSY Group, our support starts before offenders leave the correctional facility, preparing those who are within six months of release to explore career options through apprenticeships and traineeships and other job search supports, including disability employment services.
At BUSY Ability, our goal is to see you successfully reset your life back into the community, your family and workplace.
Our consultation with leading specialists in the reintegration field including leading criminologist and senior lecturer at University of Southern Queensland, Dr Suzanne Reich.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT WORKSHOPS
Our no-cost pre-employment workshops are designed to provide support, information, new ideas and resources to help you get into the workforce.
Topics covered include but not limited to:
- networking,
- interviewing,
- self-awareness,
- self-care and
- effective communication.
