Four steps to your new career

Step one

Contact BUSY Ability to discuss your eligibility and how to sign up with Inclusive Employment Australia.

Step two

If you are eligible for Inclusive Employment Australia and choose us as your provider, you will meet your BUSY Ability Employment Consultant. This is your chance to discuss your interests, aspirations and barriers to employment.

Step three

You will begin to have regular meetings with your BUSY Ability Employment Consultant. Together we will create an employment plan, update your resume, begin to acquire new skills, complete training programs and apply for jobs that are the right fit for you.

How we support you

Everyone is unique and we all have different employment goals

Inclusive Employment Australia is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide eligible people with disability, injury or a health condition access to individually tailored employment services.

We focus on your ability and support you to find meaningful work that suits you and your current circumstance.

The more help you need, the more you get. Whether you want to supplement your income support payment with a part-time job, return to the workforce after an injury or health condition, or overcome a barrier to employment, our team are here to help.

About Inclusive Employment Australia

Inclusive Employment Australia is a new specialist disability employment program that replaced the previous Disability Employment Services (from 1st November 2025)

Supporting and empowering people with disability, injury or health conditions, the program offers tailored, flexible support to prepare for, find and maintain meaningful employment and advance their careers. The improved program offers more people access to employment support.

Inclusive Employment Australia offers:
  • Continuing personalised support and plans for your unique needs and goals.

  • More people eligible for support – those assessed as less than 8 hours per week of assessed work capacity are now able to access.

  • Voluntary participants not receiving Centrelink income support are eligible.

  • Removal of the previous two‑year time limit on service access.

  • Flexible and individualised support for those ready to find work and those wanting to stay in work.
